Hari Singh is a multifaceted producer, vocalist and an audio engineer. A mathematician and an alumni of SAE, he has worked in studios as well live sound environments, from making ringtones to mixing bands.
Sukhmani Malik has a Masters degree in Hindustani classical vocal. A natural performer, she has mesmerised audiences with her signature voice. She also has international theatre experience as a singer-dancer.

Hailing from Le Corbusier’s city of Chandigarh, Hari & Sukhmani have a sound synonymous with contemporary folklore in India as well as internationally. Staying true to their style and artistic creation, combining their roots with an array of sounds from string instruments like the Sarangi to Modular synthesizers, they present to you the iconic traditional Punjabi folk enhanced with the ‘Music of their own genre’.
The duo’s regular appearances on TV shows and Radio broadcasts have made them a popular act among diverse audiences. From appearing on ‘The big Day’ on Netflix to BBC Radio UK, and shows such as Star World’s The Dewarists, Coke Studio @ MTV, Fox Traveller’s Sound Trek, Tehelka Music Project and Zee international’s Supermoon live to home. Hari ★ Sukhmani have not only become an integral part of India’s indie music community but also the Big fat Indian Wedding industry.
Their collaborations with artists such as Noori (Pakistan), Arshad Khan (Israj Player), Thu Le (Vietnam, Western guitarist), Trilok Gurtu (Percussionist), Fakhruddin Ghaffari (Iran, Percussionist), The Coconut Kids (Australia) and Earthstage (Indian Jazz Band) have allowed their music to cut across various platforms, genres, audiences and even borders and be heard around the world.
